A British detective story set in the Cotswolds, it is the first outing for Andy Caplet and the unhuman Inspector Hobbes and is book 1 in Wilkie’s 4 book ‘unhuman’ series. In it a monstrous police detective investigates grave, ghoulish goings-on. A mad pseudo vampire with the dagger of Vlad Tepes is behind robbery, and murder. It is a funny tale with a troll, human sacrifice, blood and great cooking.
Although in a series, each stand-alone story of these diverting and amusing listens will change your perception of the Cotswolds forever. The audiobooks in the series are all narrated by the award winning narrator, actor and opera singer Tim Campbell. They are suitable for teenagers upwards.
